March is National Quilt Month
Join us at Season of Home as we celebrate National Quilt Month. There will be a new quilt with free pattern featured each week; also a different Fabric Collection will be on sale.
Come in and see us, pick up your free pattern, and enjoy Lemonade and Cookies. The Girls will also be doing a free demo each Saturday at 11 and 2.

$5 Block of the Month
This Month your new block will be ready for your purchase on Tuesday, March 10th; this date coincides with our "Fat Tuesday" buy 5 get 3 free. If you haven't signed up to do the Block of the Month hurry in we have just 2 spaces left.

Saturday March 6
Free demo by Paulette on the 60 degree ruler @ 2:00 p.m. 2:30 Spring is in the air and Nancy will be showing you -- 3 different items that you can make and take home....# 1 - A wool felted flower pin - $3.00 (you can put it on your easter bonnet!) #2 -a fast and easy felted easter egg - $3.00 the felted pin cushion (all wool) w/ a wool flower topper - Fee $6.00.
Saturday March 13
At 2:30 3:00 ish (after Linda) - Nancy will be demonstrating the bullseye squares. This is a free demo using a happy scrappy technique that you can turn into darling baby quilts, purses, apron pockets and more. A great way to reduce the size of your stash.
Saturday - March 20th
2:00 - Linda will be showing you how to make and take away with you an adorable headband - cost will be just $2 - supplies furnished. After Linda's demo, @ about 2:30 or 3:00 JoLayne will show you how to make a fabulous pillow case for that special bed in your house - be it the guest room, child's room, etc. We have the most beautiful, colorful kits made up or you can choose any fabric that you want to make your own. This will be a free demo - no purchase necessary...just plan to attend to see this simple and fast method. It will surprise you. Free pattern to take home w/ kit purchase.
Saturday - March 27th
2:00 p.m. - Colleen will show you how to make the fabulous cotton hat - multicolored and happy w/ a big fabric flower on the side. Maybe you have seen this spectacular little beauty in the store. This will be a free demo to show you how simple & easy it is to make this hat. Pattern will be available and help picking out your fabrics if you want to make your own. The pattern fits head sizes from infants to adult. With just one pattern you can make one for mama, daughter and baby sister.
3:00 or right after Colleen's hat demo, Nancy will be doing a make 'n take - a cute little wool circular candle mat for your table ...you will learn how to felt on some bunnies, flowers or any other spring decor that you would like. Fee will be $6

Also as an added note, Nancy, our felter gal, works every wednesday cutting fabric in the store, but if you haven't been able to come to a felting demo, she will bring her felting and give you a quick demo (that is if she is not too swamped cutting fabric for customers) This will just be a casual free mini lesson for you and your friends if you happen by on Wednesdays...so take advantage of all SOH has to offer during the month of March - National Quilt Month....Whew it is making us tired to think how hard we will be working for you!!! Since we are so full of fabric in our upstairs, most demos will be held in the garage (don't worry it is warm in there)
Note - for any of the felting demos, if you already have your own needle and felting pad, please bring to the class. Also children love felting, but best they be over the age of 8. Needles are sharp!
